Launched in March 2024, INNOAESTHETICS’ INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN features the first completely synthetic exosome developed in Europe. Nearly one year since its release, this revolutionary product is delivering outstanding results, not only for skin regeneration but also in addressing alopecia and other skin concerns.

This pioneering development marks a major leap forward in a new branch of aesthetic medicine called Regenerative Aesthetics, a term you are likely to hear frequently in the coming years.

A BREAF INTRODUCTION TO REGENERATIVE AESTHETICS

For those unfamiliar, exosomes are tiny vesicles released by cells that play a crucial role in intercellular communication. They stimulate essential biological processes and have shown remarkable results in regenerative medicine. Their versatility makes exosomes a promising solution for improving a variety of skin and hair conditions.

However, there is a challenge: cell-derived exosomes contain genetic material, which may pose potential health risks. This is why the use of exosomes in cosmetics is restricted in many countries, prompting scientists to search for ethical and safe ways to harness their benefits.

Some brands have turned to plant-based exosomes in their formulations. However, after years of research, INNOAESTHETICS developed a 100% synthetic alternative, free from animal or plant sources. This innovation, known as INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN, has quickly become the brand’s top-selling product.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN

The synthetic exosome-like molecules in INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN are created in INNOAESTHETICS’ state-of-the-art pharmaceutical plant in Barcelona, Spain, using proprietary NARBEX™ Technology (Non-Animal Regenerative Bioengineering Exosome).

This groundbreaking technology replicates the active protein components of natural exosomes by crosslinking amino acid chains.

As Dr. Víctor García Guevara, our Medical Director, explains:

“We work with essential amino acids involved in the synthesis of collagen, elastin, DNA, and glutathione, as well as cellular repair. These amino acids are assembled into peptide chains. By altering the pH, we gelify and crosslink the chains into helical fibrils. Gradually increasing the pH triggers the formation of nanospheres—synthetic exosome-like molecules.”

He adds:

“The demand for biotherapeutic products and recombinant proteins is constantly growing. In this context, signaling peptides—short amino acid sequences—play a key role. These peptides regulate protein secretion and served as the inspiration for INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN. Like biological exosomes, these synthetic molecules act as cellular messengers, stimulating the skin’s natural regenerative processes.”

Each vial of INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN contains 200 millions of these exosome-like molecules, designed to mimic the signaling functions of exosomes.  The result? Safe and effective skin regeneration, significantly enhancing skin quality and appearance.

RESULTS THAT SPEAK BY THEMSELVES

Here are examples of real-world results:

  • Three patients with different skin concerns were treated with INNO-EXOMA® EXO-SKIN.

A total of three sessions were performed at 21-day intervals.
